STUDENT SUPPLY LIST 2010/2011
BENNINGTION GRADE SCHOOL
*ALL GRADES – KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 8TH NEED TO BRING PE SHOES (NO BLACK SOLES) TO BE WORN WHILE USING THE GYM TO HELP PROTECT THE FLOOR.
Preschool: 1 ream of 8 ½ X 11 white paper 20lb – no recycled paper reams, 2 PLASTIC 3-prong pocket folders; 1 bottle of Elmer’s glue; 1 large glue stick;
1 pair Fiskar scissors; 8 large crayons; 5x8 plastic pencil box; watercolors;
10 count Crayola kids paint; 4 pack of playdough; 1 package of baby wipes; Kleenex; 1 bottle hand sanitizer; BOYS – 1 can of Lysol; GIRLS – 1 container Clorox wipes; full-size backpack; extra set of clothes.
Kindergarten: 1 ream of 8 ½ X 11 white paper 20lb – no recycled paper reams, 15 small glue sticks (dries clear); 1 pair Fiskar scissors; Klennex; 4 boxes of 16 Crayola crayons; 3 big erasers; 1 small and 1 large pencil box; 20 (must be Papermate Sharpwriter #2) pencils (this is a disposable); 2 PLASTIC 3-prong pocket folders; Resting pad; PE shoes.
First Grade: 1 ream of 8 ½ X 11 white paper 20lb – no recycled paper reams, 20 #2 pencils; 3 erasers; 10 small dries clear glue sticks; scissors, 4 boxes of
24 crayons; 11x7 pencil box; 1 large Kleenex; 5 folders with prongs and
pockets-colors: red, blue, green, yellow and purple; Girls bring 1 box quart freezer bags, Boys bring 1 box gallon freezer bags; label all supplies!
Second Grade: 1 ream of 8 ½ X 11 white paper 20lb – no recycled paper reams, 20 #2 pencils; 2 boxes of 24 crayons; Fiskars scissors; 4 jumbo glue sticks;
2 lg. Kleenex; 2 large erasers; 2 pkg 12 colored pencils; 5 different color
durable pocket folders -blue, red, green, yellow, purple; large pencil box;
1 hand sanitizer, label all supplies!
NO notebooks, trappers, pens, gel pens
Third Grade: 1 ream of 8 ½ X 11 white paper 20lb – no recycled paper reams, Large pkg. #2 pencils; 1 small pencil box or bag; 12" ruler with metric; 24 crayons; small pkg. Colored pencils, 1 box washable markers; big eraser; 1 large bottle Elmer's glue; 2 glue sticks; wide-line notebook paper; water colors; Kleenex, pointed scissors; book bag; 6 multi-colored pocket folders; 1 highlighter;
2 dark colored Expo dry erase markers; 80 page composition book;
Please label everything. NO pens, eversharps, trappers, spiral notebooks
Fourth Grade: 1 ream of 8 ½ X 11 white paper 20lb – no recycled paper reams, Book bag; 24 #2 pencils, pencil sharpener with catcher; 24 colored pencils;
2 large erasers; 2 large glue sticks; 1 spiral notebooks; 2 packages wide
line notebook paper; wide rule composition book; scissors; standard & metric ruler (no bendable rulers please); 3 pocket folders; 11x7 pencil box;
2 highlighters; 1 large Kleenex; No Trappers, No Mechanical Pencils.
Fifth Grade: 1 ream of 8 ½ X 11 white paper 20lb – no recycled paper reams,
1 large Kleenex; 1 inexpensive can of shaving cream; 12 #2 pencils; wooden or plastic ruler with both standard and metric units of measurement; box of 24 crayons or colored pencils; 2 blue, 2black, 2 red pens (erasable ink o.k.); compass; clear plastic protractor; pencil erasers; 3 - two inch three ring binder -
no trappers, please; 1 pencil box (must fit inside top compartment of desk);
1 pair of scissors; 2 glue sticks; wide-lined notebook paper; 7 dry-erase markers (these will need to be replaced throughout the year); 1 dry erase eraser; 1 set of
highlighters (at least 4 in a package); college ruled composition book (10 x 7 7/8 preferred); minimum of 256 megabyte jump drive; 4 CDR-CDs with jewel cases.
Sixth Grade: 1 ream of 8 ½ X 11 white paper 20lb – no recycled paper reams, wooden or plastic ruler with both standard and metric units of measurement; 1 large Kleenex boxes; #2 pencils; 1 big eraser; colored pencils; 1 set of highlighters (at least a pkg of 4); calculator; bottle of rubber cement; scissors;
3 ring binder with folders for separating subjects; notebook paper; minimum of 256 megabyte jump / flash drive; PE Shoes.
Seventh & Eighth Grades: 1 ream of 8 ½ X 11 white paper 20lb – no recycled paper reams, package of #2 pencils; eraser; blue or black
pens; colored marking pencils or markers; scientific calculator;
protractor; ruler; compass; glue stick; wide-line notebooks for each
class (5) or 3 ring binder with notebook paper; folder with fasteners for
each class (5); minimum of 256 megabyte jump/flash drive; PE clothes.
