Mr. Jason Feil
Mr. Feil graduated from Lucas-Luray High School and participated in football, golf, track, and basketball.
He earned his teaching degree from Kansas State University.
Mr. Feil has been in education for 26 years. He became a teacher because he looked up to teachers when he was younger and had great respect for how they influenced his life. Mr. Feil’s mother was also a teacher.
Mr. Feil has been at Bennington High School for all 26 years of his teaching career.
He has either taught or is teaching JH/HS math, social studies, P.E., weight lifting, engraving, and he is the athletic director.
Mr. Feil's favorite class to teach is algebra because it promotes abstract thinking and challenges students.
What Mr. Feil likes most about Bennington JH/HS is that he is able to develop a deeper relationship with students because we are a small school.
Outside of school Mr. Feil enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, spending time with family, and collecting sneakers..
Mr. Feil’s favorite movie is Gone in 60 Seconds, because he likes cool cars and Nicholas Cage.
Mr. Feil’s wife has 4 cats that rule their house.
If Mr. Feil was unable to be a teacher, he would own his own business.
Mr. Feil’s best talents are that he can say the A,B,C’s backwards and shooting trick shots on the basketball court..
What do you want people to know about you that they may not know? Although he might appear stressed out or overly focused on the school campus, he is really laid back and easy going.
