Parents of students taking Cloud County College classes for college credit, please make payment or set up a payment plan through your students account by tomorrow, Thursday, August 24 at 4:00pm or your students will be dropped from their classes per CCC policy. If making a payment for the full balance with a credit or debit card you can call 1-800-729-5101 ext. 202, Business Office. Please contact Dawn Wolf at BHS if have any questions.

Parents and Students, I have attached a copy of our weekly plan of the week, the Bulldog Bulletin. This will include an outline of the activities planned for the week. It is subject to change and is based on information provided prior to publishing. I am excited to join the Bennington school family and community. Prior to this year, I served as the K-12 principal in the Southern Lyon County school district for 14 years. Before becoming an administrator, I served as a 9-12 English teacher, coach and sponsor in Moundridge for 14 years. As we continue to move through the 23-24 school year, we will work to provide opportunities for students to grow and demonstrate their skills in the classroom and through activities. Just a reminder to our junior and senior BHS students who are taking Cloud County online courses - classes begin on Thursday the 17th. Please contact Dawn Wolf or Heather Rook if you have questions or to enroll.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: New students to Bennington Jr./Sr. High, seventh graders and freshmen will attend orientation on Thursday, August 17. Students (8th, 10th-12th) will not report on the 17th. All JH/HS students will report on Friday, August 18.

All classes at Bennington Schools will dismiss at 1:00 on Wednesday, March 8th to allow students and staff to attend the Bennington Boys State Basketball game vs Medicine Lodge at Manhattan's Bramlage Coliseum with a 4:00 start time. Lunch will be served and buses will run as normal at dismissal time.

BHS Sub-State Basketball Update & Info: Thursday, March 2nd @ Hillsboro Boys: Bennington vs Ell-Saline @ 6:00pm Friday, March 3rd @ Hillsboro Girls: Bennington vs Chase County @ 6:00pm Saturday, March 4th @ Hillsboro Boys Championship Game @ 5:30pm Girls Championship Game @ 7:00pm FM 104.9 will be carrying all of the Bennington games for the remainder of the basketball season. Hillsboro will be live streaming the games in Hillsboro on the NFHS Network (it is a paid subscription site)

BHS Sub-State Basketball Pep Rally !! Friday, Feb 24th @ 7:00pm in Main Gym EVERYONE is invited to attend this Community Wide event. Come out and show your support as the Bulldogs head into sub-state !!!

Theme nights for EVERYONE planning to attend the upcoming high school basketball games at Bennington. Please share with family and friends!! We look forward to your attendance and your fan participation as the Bulldog teams look to secure a high seed for their sub-state: Friday, Feb 17th ... WHITE OUT (please wear white) Tuesday, Feb 21st ... BLACK OUT (please wear black)

PACK THE HOUSE NIGHT to be held on Friday, Feb 17th for the high school basketball games at home against Ellsworth. All BHS Alumni individuals will receive complimentary admission. This is also the night that our BHS Dazzlers dance team will be inviting BHS Alumni Dazzlers to join them in a halftime performance (see flyer on a previous post for more information and to sign up). We encourage you to come out and support the BHS basketball teams as they make a late season push to a favorable seed in their sub-state tournament. Looking forward to seeing you in attendance !!!
