Twin Valley Schools recently had a momentous occasion as staff and students were recognized with several wards by Dr. Randy Watson, Kansas Commissioner of Education. The Commissioner's Awards with Honors, Cooper award for Academically Prepared for Postsecondary, Silver award for High School Graduation and Silver award for Postsecondary Success were bestowed upon the deserving recipients, the students and the staff, brining immense pride and joy tot he entire school community.

The Commissioner's Award with Honors is an award given to schools that outperform their predicted effectiveness rate that takes into account identified risk factors such as poverty, chronic absenteeism, and student mobility.
